The RACP Club – A small international club...
Who are we?
The Renault Alliance Club Passion is a French non-profit association under the 1901 law.
Created on December 5, 2002, at the initiative of a small group of enthusiasts wishing to promote their convertible, whose history is so unique, RACP - Renault Alliance Club Passion - now has more than sixty members and supporters.
Members come from France, but also from Europe (Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland ...), Canada and the United States.
Since December 5, 2002, exactly 20 years after the launch of the first Renault Alliance in the United States, this unique car, born from the "alliance" between the American manufacturer American Motors Corporation and Renault, has had its fan club.
For regular readers of Auto Plus magazine, it is not unknown, as it has often illustrated the technical column of Rémy Hourlier (Mr. Fix-it-all).
The Alliance was produced in several versions, including a convertible (only 12,000 units).
It is difficult today to say how many Alliances crossed the Atlantic; this is the purpose of our registry, which will give us a more precise idea.
Our members form a network of owners who are committed to helping each other in order to keep this elegant little convertible alive and known on our continent.
We invite you to browse our website and feel free to contact us if your curiosity grows while reading these pages.
