Re : Alliance bumpers

Good Day RACP members!

I have found a group in Dresden Germany who are restoring an Alliance cabrio, They received it completely dis assembled, and have discovered it is missing the front and rear bumpers. [U.S.style]

I have the pieces they need, but shipping prices from the U.S. are VERY high.

So, i thought i would ask if any RACP members might have the parts, and would be willing to sell and ship them to this group.

The group is Arc de Renault Saxonia, and you can see their work on their website.

If any of you can help, i can give you a contact via email.

Thanks All, and have a great day!

Geoffrey

Re : Alliance bumpers

Yes, that's the one.

I thought it would be cheaper to ship parts within the same continent, as opposed to shipping from the states.

If anyone has what they need, they would love to hear from you smile

Re : Alliance bumpers

I don't think we have these parts in the club sad
In Europe Alliance bumpers are really hard to find.

Hello Geoffrey,
so I 'll write in English this time big_smile
I think I can help you with the bumpers, but like Cyrille explained they are in France in the house of my brother in law in the Dordogne.
I will ask him if he could take them with him next time he goes there, but that could take some time.
Though looking at the project, you are not in a hurry...
We'll keep in touch!

Re : Alliance bumpers

Hello Gerard,

Thank you for the English smile

The bumpers are not for me, they are for Dirk, he lives in Dresden Germany.

I was trying to help them find bumpers within the European continent as shipping costs from the U.S. are very expensive.

Do you have the honeycomb inner pieces as well as the outer covers? As they need both pieces for the front and the rear.

If you have what they need, it may be best to have them contact you to arrange the sale.

Thank you for your help on this matter!

Geoffrey

Re : Alliance bumpers

Hello Geoffrey,

I have the frontside honeycomb wich is still connected to the whole front I took from an Alliance I dismantled for parts.
Don' t think I'll have the rear-one aswell I' m afraid...., must see.....

Maybe a good tip for these guys: there is an American Renault page on Facebook wich may help them:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/105034736312060/.

Kind regards!
Gerard.
